Accredited Institutions
The University Council of Jamaica maintains a list of accredited higher education institutions. The UCJ accredits institutions by establishing standards and evaluating the higher education institutions against these standards. The UCJ also assists registered institutions in the improvement of their institutions and educational programmes.
The list of accredited institutions includes institutions that are currently under review for institutional accreditation by the UCJ. Each institution under review, that has been granted candidacy, is listed at a step in the Institutional Accreditation Process. Learn more about the steps in the process here.
