The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) will host its 13th Annual Quality Assurance in Higher Education Week from March 5-9, 2018, under the theme “Enhancing and Sustaining Quality in Institutions.”
The week of activities will focus on the development of higher education institutions through the provision of training and professional advice on quality assurance matters, which fulfills one of the UCJ’s core values of promoting learning and development.
Mrs Althea Heron, Executive Director, the UCJ said that, “the focal point of the workshops for institutions will be to improve the quality of the self study for institutions that are pursuing programmatic and institutional accreditation.”

The UCJ’s most recently developed academic standards will also be launched.
